The Seachem De Nitrate Remover is a specialized water treatment designed to significantly improve aquarium water quality by targeting harmful nitrogenous compounds and organic waste. Utilizing high porosity biological media, this 500 ml treatment facilitates the growth of anaerobic bacteria essential for effective nitrate reduction in freshwater and saltwater systems.

The recommended maximum current should not exceed 200L/h. If your system experiences higher currents, the use of Seachem Matrix or Seachem Pond Matrix is advised.

Nitrate concentration levels will begin to decrease within a few days of starting treatment. If initial nitrate concentrations are very high, it is recommended to first reduce the level through water changes before implementing De Nitrate treatment.
